Fire Ring Head Gasket Set for the 24V Cummins engines.  Includes (6) 4.305 x .105 Fire Rings. Please note the head must be machined for use with these gasket sets. Please specify if another size ring is required for your application.

Typical 12/24V Head Gaskets measure .060”-.064” before they are crushed .  (***This will vary slightly depending on the manufacturer along with what production date and location where the gaskets were produced***)

The desired protrusion on the Fire-Ring is right around .015” (+/-  .001) after taking into consideration the thickness of the gasket and the depth of the groove cut.

Typically the groove depth needs to be in the .030”-.034” range depending on the thickness of the gasket being used.

The groove O.D. when using the .105” Rings is typically 4.540”  We normally use a .125 wide cutter.
