OEM Part #’s 4955622-Std/4955623-.020/4955624-.040  (PLEASE ALLOW 2-3 DAYS ADDITIONAL HANDLING TIME)

Please note that if you are using these in a 2004.5-2007 5.9L engine then you will need to advise your injector shop that you need the earlier style nozzle to match the different bowl.

5.9CR QSB Marine Piston

This particular kit consists of:

-Pistons/Rings   (OEM CUMMINS QSB 480hp MARINE PISTONS)
*(Heat-treated twice/30% approximate higher strength)
-Connecting Rod Bearings –  (Mahle-Clevite/Interstate-McBee)   *H & HX Series available as well*
*Please let us know if you are running older style rods so we can supply the correct part #*
-Main Bearings  (Mahle-Clevite/Interstate-McBee)  *H & HX Series available as well*
-Cam Bushing/s  (Mahle-Clevite/Interstate-McBee/OEM Cummins)
-Upper Head Gasket Set (OEM CUMMINS #4089819)
-Lower Gasket Set  (OEM CUMMINS – Pieced Together)
-Crank Seals (Mahle-Clevite/Interstate-McBee)    *Crank Seals with Wear Sleeves are available as well*

Other Items to Consider:

-*Cylinder Head Bolts (Factory Torque-to-yield or ARP Studs)
-*Connecting Rod Bolts (Factory Torque-to-yield or ARP Bolts)
-BE SURE TO CHECK THAT YOUR EXHAUST VALVE SEATS ARE NOT LOOSENING UP IN THE CYLINDER HEAD
-Oil Pump
-Oil Cooler  *Should be replaced if any metal particles went through the oil system*
-Thermostat
-Water Pump
-Camshaft Tappets (Also check for irregular camshaft lobe wear and flaking)
-Excessive Pushrod/Pushtube Wear On Ball End
-Rocker Shaft & Rocker Arm Bushing Wear (last area oil travels and can generally be galled up, check oiling hole too!)
*Many times the rocker shaft can be buffed to remove the bushing material that has been transferred and everything reused*
